About Me

My photo
I have been a Stampin' Up Demonstrator for almost two years now, and when I signed up it was just for the starter kit and discount on products........ I never imagined it would snowball into being a business like it has. I am a new Mummy to my little boy, Isaac, who is almost four months old now. I am spending my maternity leave enjoying watch him grow up, becoming his own little person, and also trying to build my business up. Stampin' Up! have amazing products and I would love to share my crafting passion with as many people as possible. I am always putting through orders, so if you need anything, or just want some information or advise, please do not hesitate to contact me. If you want to try before you buy, then check out my classes and get booked on.

Less is most certainly more!

Just a quick post tonight, and a really quick card make too.

The Less Is More challenge this week was of the theme - One Layer Card - Embossing.
The embossing could be heat or dry embossing.
I had a lovely Stampin' Up! delivery today, which included a couple of pots of embossing powder, so I thought I'd have a go at the heat embossing.

I used the Just Believe stamps set, which is really versatile for so many occasions.
I decided to use Pear Pizzazz card for the base as it reminds me of spring and I thought the white embossing powder would look good against this colour card.
The main image was inked in Versamark and stamped, then covered in the White Embossing Powder and heated with a heat gun to melt it.  I also added the sentiment the same way, though I think it's just slightly crooked!  It is my first attempt though, and I was really pleased with the result.

Let me know what you think by adding a comment below - and drop by the Less Is More blog site to check out everyone else's entries.

The Details:
Card / Paper - Pear Pizzazz
