Big Shot Galore!

I'm back with the final three cards from March's class.

Better late than never I say!

These cards all utilised the Big Shot in one way or another.

The first one is a colour combo of So Saffron and Pool Party which was taken from the Tea for Two DSP.  I love the Honeycomb Embossing Folder :o)

I used my Colour Coach for the colour combo of this second card - Perfect Plum, Lucky Limeade and Red Riding Hood.

I have only just discovered a love for Red Riding Hood and now it's leaving us - so sad.

We used one of the Needlepoint Border Embossing Folders on this card as well as the Secret Garden stamps and co-ordinating framelit dies.

The last card is a gorgeous colour combo of Rose Red and Baja Breeze with some Floral District DSP thrown in for good measure.

The top portion is embossed with the Fancy Fan folder and Daydream Medaillions and co-ordinating Floral Frames have been used with the Big Shot as well.

I'm trying to get all of my class cards from earlier in the year posted before the end of June when lots of the products I've used won't be available any more.  Still quite a few to go so watch this space!

Florals……….

Good Afternoon,

I have a couple of cards to share with you today from a class I ran in March.  Needless to say, I am a little behind with my blogging!

The first is a bright, simply layout.

 IMG_1876

I love all of the designer papers, but so often never get round to using them, so in this class I tried to fit quite a few in.

The single stamp, Beautiful Birthday, is one of my favourites and I will be sad to see it go at the end of this month.

The next card has a softer feel to it.  The stamp set is Field Flowers which is just gorgeous.  The flower heads have been cut out and popped up with Dimensionals.

The DSP used for the background layer is Twitterpated.

October Card Class - New Products Card 2

Hi there,

This is the second card from my October New Products class, and it was inspired by a few cards I saw on Pinterest.  Such an amazing site for inspiration, though it can eat away at the hours!!!!

I love the bright colour combinations of the Floral District Designer Paper, and it makes putting together a card so simply when you use the DSP as the colour combo is all picked out for you :o)

The base is Rose Red, a very underused colour by me, but I loved it on this card.
There is a layer of Whisper White, topped with a strip of the DSP and edged with strips of Rose Red on which we used the Scallop Border Punch.

I love, love, love all of the new Framelit collections, and we used the Window Framelits on this card.
The smaller one was stamped with the big, gorgeous flower from Betsys Blossoms set, then mounted onto a bigger Baja Breeze window.

It's so obvious sometimes just how much Stampin' Up! spoil us with co-ordinating products, such as stamps and punches.  The bird, also from Betsys Blossoms, was stamped onto Whisper White in Rose Red ink, and quite a few of the class spent a little while looking for the punch............. and then I told them they were going to have to cut it out the old fashioned way - with scissors!!!! Shock, horror...............

The sentiment is from Sweet Essentials, fast becoming a favourite of mine!  Then we finished the card with some punched flowers, topped with Rhinestones for some sparkle.

More cards to follow in a few days xxx
