I have been a Stampin' Up Demonstrator for almost two years now, and when I signed up it was just for the starter kit and discount on products........ I never imagined it would snowball into being a business like it has. I am a new Mummy to my little boy, Isaac, who is almost four months old now. I am spending my maternity leave enjoying watch him grow up, becoming his own little person, and also trying to build my business up. Stampin' Up! have amazing products and I would love to share my crafting passion with as many people as possible. I am always putting through orders, so if you need anything, or just want some information or advise, please do not hesitate to contact me. Less Is More Saturday

The Less Is More challenge this week is all about Monochrome - using or displaying only shades of one color or black and white.

I decided to go with the black and white theme for this challenge, and I kept my card nice and simple.

I used the lovely I (Heart) Hearts stamp set, positioning all of the heart stamps I wanted to use onto one large clear block, inking in Versamark ink and stamping directly onto the Basic Black card base.  I tipped over some White Embossing Powder, shook it off and heated it up with my heat gun.  The centre patterned section of the left hard heart was then added using the Stamp-a-ma-jig and inked in Whisper White.

Quick, simple, yet effective..........  I hope you like it!

The Details: Card / Paper - Basic Black smooth card
Stamps / Ink - I (Heart) Hearts / Versamark / Whisper White
Embellishments - None
Tools -White Embossing Powder / Trimmer / Stampin Scrub and Mist / Stamp-a-ma-jig
