About Me

My photo
I have been a Stampin' Up Demonstrator for almost two years now, and when I signed up it was just for the starter kit and discount on products........ I never imagined it would snowball into being a business like it has. I am a new Mummy to my little boy, Isaac, who is almost four months old now. I am spending my maternity leave enjoying watch him grow up, becoming his own little person, and also trying to build my business up. Stampin' Up! have amazing products and I would love to share my crafting passion with as many people as possible. I am always putting through orders, so if you need anything, or just want some information or advise, please do not hesitate to contact me. If you want to try before you buy, then check out my classes and get booked on.

STAMPERS 10 CLUB
(NOTE - This post will remain at the top of the page until 30th June.  Please scroll down for new posts)

Do you have an ever growing wish list of Stampin' Up! products?
Would you like to start ticking things off the list a bit at a time?
Would you like to receive the Hostess Benefits without having to have a Stampin' Up! Party in your home?
Then my Stampers 10 Club is for you!
Here's how it works:
  • I need ten people to join in this Stampers 10 Club.
  • Each member will commit to spending £15 per month for ten months. (If you live locally to me then there will be no postage fee, you can either collect, or I can deliver - please check with me).
  • During the ten months, each of you will take a turn at being the 'virtual hostess' (each member’s month will be randomly selected).  When it's your turn to be hostess you get to choose at least £25 of goodies from whichever catalogues are current - you can also collect additional orders from friends and family to increase your hostess benefit value.
  • You will receive a FREE copy of the NEW 2013/2014 catalogue which starts 2nd July 2013, plus any seasonal catalogues that come out whilst you are a member of the club.
  • I will email you on the 1st of the month to remind you to make your choices and I will place the orders on the 10th of the month.
Extras

  • Every month each member will receive a project pack with their order.  Inside will be everything needed to make a beautiful card or 3D project, including instructions.
  • During the 6 months the club runs you will also receive various mini packs of Stampin’ Up! Products to sample – card stock / ribbon / brads / buttons etc…….

The next club will be starting in July.

Quick Cards Class

Hi there,

I'm back with some cards we made at one of my new Friday classes - Quick Cards and a Cuppa - pretty self explanatory really!

Lots of these cards use colours that are retiring, but would be easy to recreate in so many other colour combinations too.

This first card is made using the Clockworks stamp set, which is one I didn't really like when I first saw it, but now LOVE!
Sorry for the dark photos - was a little late in the day when I took these.  The colours are More Mustard (retiring), with Sahara Sand, Early Espresso and Pool Party.

The centre of the watch was stamped on a scrap piece of Whisper White and punched out so we could pop it up.

I love banner cards and used a combination of Lucky Limeade (not so lucky as it's retiring!), Perfect Plum and Sahara Sand.
The DSP along the bottom of the card was prettied up using one of the Finishing Touches Edgelits with the Big Shot.

Who doesn't love butterflies on cards..........  We used the Spritzer Tool (another retiree) for the background, and also Comfort Cafe DSP for the sideways banners.

This last card is my favourite of the set.  I am so sad to see this Beautiful Birthday stamp going.  Thankfully the Secret Garden set is staying, along with the co-ordinating Framelit Dies.........  The banner strip on this card has been embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.

My recent love of Red Riding Hood has been used for the base card and the stamped flowers.  We stamped the flower twice and cut out the centre section to pop it up.

I am really enjoying running my new Friday classes and have been getting good feedback thus far.  Why not check out my classes page and see what's coming up?

Big Shot Galore!

I'm back with the final three cards from March's class.

Better late than never I say!

These cards all utilised the Big Shot in one way or another.

The first one is a colour combo of So Saffron and Pool Party which was taken from the Tea for Two DSP.  I love the Honeycomb Embossing Folder :o)

I used my Colour Coach for the colour combo of this second card - Perfect Plum, Lucky Limeade and Red Riding Hood.

I have only just discovered a love for Red Riding Hood and now it's leaving us - so sad.

We used one of the Needlepoint Border Embossing Folders on this card as well as the Secret Garden stamps and co-ordinating framelit dies.

The last card is a gorgeous colour combo of Rose Red and Baja Breeze with some Floral District DSP thrown in for good measure.

The top portion is embossed with the Fancy Fan folder and Daydream Medaillions and co-ordinating Floral Frames have been used with the Big Shot as well.

I'm trying to get all of my class cards from earlier in the year posted before the end of June when lots of the products I've used won't be available any more.  Still quite a few to go so watch this space!

Florals……….

Good Afternoon,

I have a couple of cards to share with you today from a class I ran in March.  Needless to say, I am a little behind with my blogging!

The first is a bright, simply layout.

 IMG_1876

I love all of the designer papers, but so often never get round to using them, so in this class I tried to fit quite a few in.

The single stamp, Beautiful Birthday, is one of my favourites and I will be sad to see it go at the end of this month.

The next card has a softer feel to it.  The stamp set is Field Flowers which is just gorgeous.  The flower heads have been cut out and popped up with Dimensionals.

The DSP used for the background layer is Twitterpated.

It's now less than two weeks until the NEW 2013/2014 catalogue is released, which means it's also less than two weeks until the retiring items will be gone!!!!!

Contact me to reserve your copy of the new catalogue, and to place your retiring items order.

Up, Up and Away........

Morning all!

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend :o)

I really love the stamp set Up, Up and Away and am very sad that it is retiring at the end of this month.

Here is a quick and easy card that I made using this set.

The balloon images are really simple to cut out, and look lovely popped up with some Dimensionals.

There are a few sentiments in this set and the one I used fits perfectly inside the 1" Square Punch.

Right, I'm off to enjoy the day

Oh, Hello............

Hi all,

I have made a real effort to do some blog posts as I am soooooo behind with them and have a mountain of projects building up on my desk and about to topple over!!!!

Hopefully this will be the first of many scheduled posts in the month of June as we lead up to the final days of the 2012/2013 catalogue and look forward to the new release on 2nd July!!!!
I'm so excited about it, and really hope to have some fab sneak peek projects to show you in the coming weeks as well, so watch this space............

Today's card is just a quick one using the Oh Hello stamp set and Oval Framelits from the Spring/Summer Seasonal Catalogue

The background card is Primrose Petals Core'dinations card.  It was embossed using the gorgeous Honeycomb Embossing Folder and then sanded back to reveal the "core" of the card...........  such a lovely effect.

The flower image from Oh Hello was inked up using the Marker Pens, in Primrose Petals and Lucky Limeade.

I told you it was a quick one :o)
I'll be back soon with some more projects to share with you.
